I installed drivers for a brother mfcc on slack 13 the printer is recognized and set up in cups it printed the test page but will not print anything else.

Thanks Puntjuh I also installed the drivers by using rpm2tgz and installpkg set up the printer with cups and the test page printed, the kfc240c is detected as default so I tried to print a few diferent text files a mousepad file, a vim file and some random stuff and the printer bfother up when using the print command but the printer doesn't do anything.
