CONEXANT SMARTAUDIO HD TOSHIBA SATELLITE DRIVER

My Sound has started to work. I have a Toshiba L which also has a Conexant chip. I downloaded the drivers from your link and restarted but still no sound from the headphones unfortunately. Windows 10 is said that drivers and applications would be compatible, but why are we getting these problems. No issues with using the older drivers what so ever. But you have to download a correct driver for your system this should not be a problem for you if you have not solved your problem before seeing my post.

Right click on the sound card driver and select Update device software.

Everything works fine, till I noticed there is no sound. However, I was unable to find anything Dell or Windows 8 specific. New 28 Mar 5. After the installation you have to restart the laptop an the result is unbeleivable: I just tried uninstalling the speakers again through Device Manager checking remove drivers box.

I have often found that if reinstalling the sound driver from device manager does not work as expected, then running the sound card driver setup file usually fixes the issue. I wanted to record some audio off the sound card, and realized that this sound card does not allow Stereo Mix to be enabled, so recording software like Audacity has nothing to satelliet from.
